Fine dining is a difficult thing to find in the Mansfield area.  Hudson and Essex definitely checks that box.  The atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing dinner with loved ones or friends.  Our server did not miss a thing and she was on top of everyone in our party.  I got a ribeye and it was delicious and cooked perfectly.  My salad and fries were awesome as well.  We'll definitely be back!!!

What a surprising experience. I met a friend from Cleveland halfway, and our experience was so nice. We were greeted warmly by Riley and staff. Our server Shelby was fun, so helpful, attentive and caring. The owners stopped by our table and thanked us for coming in (holding hands nearly the entire time), and then Alex literally walked us (probably about a block away in the cold) to another establishment after we asked for directions. Awesome time, so impressed. The great people made the biggest difference. Thank you!

We had a family function and this was a half way point for us to eat. What a GREAT place!! The food was Amazing. Our server, Chade, was Fabulous!! The owners stopped by to congratulate our family member on their milestone. This place is an Awesome place to dine regardless of the size of your group. We'll be back. ❤️

My boyfriend and I keep Hudson and Essex at the top of our list for celebratory meals. The service has always been phenomenal and intimate. Our favorite servers Haley and Bryce Take exceptional care of us 🥰 I would say my very very favorite item on the appetizer menu is the crab-cakes with the next best thing being the bread service. We get both every time. The Steak is phenomenal and always cooked perfectly, But we love just about everything on the menu to be completely honest. I Think their cocktail menu has room for improvement, but nonetheless the drinks are delicious. The brunch is also unforgettable and you have to try the loaded tots. We normally make a reservation being about 35 minutes away And they have no problem accommodating us when we ask for our favorite table (thank you thank you thank you ) oh and the owner comes around in his handsome suit jacket- sometimes with his wife- to ask how everything is and make sure you are enjoying your experience. we enjoy how personable this place and we can’t wait to come back. Thank you for providing such wonderful dishes to this area 🤩

Happened upon this place by accident on a Friday night and took a chance on getting a table. So glad we did! The service was outstanding from the host to the server to the bartender. The owners even stopped by our table to welcome us and thank us for coming- they seem like wonderful, sincere people. The food was simply delicious! Steak cooked perfectly, duck was tender and flavorful. I’d like to go back and try a couple cocktails and dessert- all sounded amazing. We will absolutely be back!

We absolutely LOVED this restaurant experience. This high end establishment is the perfect place to show off that cocktail dress in the back of your closet. I love that they have a (reasonable) dress code. The food was absolutely amazing and the staff were all phenomenal. The owners continue to make their rounds and introductions and are lovely people. The atmosphere is open and elegant. The food is more moderate portions compared to some restaurants, but we found that it was appropriate and still brought some home. The dessert (S'more cheesecake) was enough for multiple people. Also, I have some food restrictions that they were wonderful in accomodating.

In Hudson & Essex Very pleasant atmosphere with very attentive staff !!! My friends and I came for an excursion to Mansville Prison (following the movie Escape from Shawshank) and after a long walk We wanted to have dinner at a local place In Google Maps we found an interesting place with a colorful hall in the style of an underground wine storage! I recommend this restaurant to visit Special thanks to the manager for the tour and an interesting story !!!!

We dined here twice during a race weekend at Mid-Ohio. The appetizer and main courses were both outstanding, alongside their craft cocktails. The service was also exceptional, as Nick and the rest of the staff were very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable during both of our visits. We would definitely return here next time we're in the area.

This place is hands-down one of the best restaurants in Mansfield definitely recommend you go here. I had the braze beef ravioli. My friend had the French dip and smashed burger for my other. These three items were so good. Also recommend the bang bang lobster bites. We will definitely be back in the service was great thank you so much you guys.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hudson & Essex was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the food was truly delicious. Our waiter, Reed, went above and beyond to make the experience memorable and enjoyable. Alex behind the bar was extremely knowledgeable and helped us select some fantastic bottles of wine, which really elevated the evening. On top of that, the manager Sean was incredibly welcoming—his engagement and hospitality were truly unmatched. I would highly recommend Hudson & Essex to anyone, whether you’re local or traveling from out of the area—it’s absolutely worth the trip. Already looking forward to returning!
